F2 is a very low-maintenance coating. Since little hard fouling can adhere, care is limited to occasional, simple cleaning.<hr>Care during the curing phase (first 12 weeks)The full curing of the coating takes 12 weeks. During this time, a so-called &quot;Early-Clean&quot; is useful if needed.<ul><li>Early-Clean: After 8 to 12 weeks, a light biofilm may form. This can be easily removed with a soft cloth, sponge, or soft brush to make subsequent colonization by macro-organisms more difficult.</li></ul>Long-term care<ul><li>Easy cleaning: Superficial fouling, especially bioslime, can usually be wiped away very easily with a soft cloth, sponge, or soft brush. Depending on the cruising area and driving behavior, a gentle cleaning as needed (often 1-2 times per season is sufficient) is enough.</li><li>Winter storage: F2 does not require annual repainting. Check the coating after the season and clean it selectively if necessary.</li></ul>

Repairing small scratches with F2 Top Coat (fastest method)This method is ideal if the scratches are only superficial and the coating underneath is not completely damaged.<ol start="1"><li>Thoroughly clean the surface with F2 Degreasing Solution or a similar product.</li><li>Wipe the area dry with a non-fuzzing paper towel.</li><li>Apply a new layer of Top Coat, making sure that the scratches are well covered.</li></ol>The scratches may still be slightly visible, but the surface will be intact and protected. This is the fastest way to repair the areas.<hr>2. Repairing deep scratches with Adhesive Coat and Top CoatIf you want to completely cover the scratches in color as well, proceed as follows:<ol start="1"><li>Sand off the existing coating in the affected area down to the primer.</li><li>Reapply the Adhesive Coat layer.</li><li>Finally, reapply the Top Coat layer.</li></ol>
